Evaluate the DM Series for Jobsite-Oriented Product Lines
The DM Series combines a front protective section, rubber at the base, a 1/4-inch tripod thread, and an extendable reference pin. Evaluate these features against your target application, required working range, interface, and protection criteria before defining the product scope.
Rubber Base for Grip and Housing Protection
The rubber-covered base supports grip and provides an additional buffer around the housing during routine handling. Protection requirements should be defined in the project test plan.
Front Housing Designed as an Additional Buffer
The raised front section is intended to add separation around the measuring end of the housing. Confirm drop and durability criteria for the selected configuration.
Tripod Thread for a Stable Measurement Setup
The built-in 1/4-inch tripod thread supports a stable setup when handheld movement should be reduced.
Extendable Reference Pin for Corners and Gaps
The two-position pin extends the measurement reference for corners, gaps, and applications that require an offset from the housing.

Optional Angle and Connectivity Features

Battery Configuration for Product Evaluation
Published platform information lists two AA batteries, more than 10,000 measurements, and a battery indicator. Confirm the applicable model, test conditions, and documentation before publication.
